Much is written about the various Gold holdings of governments around the world. Who is adding to their pile and who is selling?
Who’s got the biggest?
It is irrelevant. How much Gold governments own has no bearing on the health of an economy. That is dictated by how much Gold the people own and whether it is free to circulate. At some point all government Gold will be frittered away in the vain attempt to maintain their personal grip on perks and power; including war if that suits the purpose.
National movements are agitating to have their Gold returned home. It is borne of the misunderstanding that the Gold belongs to the people.
The less Gold governments own the better, because the less Gold they own the more the people own. It is people who create prosperity.
