We no more have a collective mind for processing concepts than we have a collective stomach for processing foods (paraphrasing the excellent Yaron Brook from an interview conducted by Dave Rubin).
We are all individuals, even those who are reluctant to accept the responsibilities that come with that status. We each have our own hopes, dreams and aspirations. Individual choices and pursuits have no place in a collective and for that reason alone, though there are others, a collective is inhuman.
Only by the subjugation of what constitutes an individual can the collective be achieved.
The human variant of the collective goes under the name of socialism. It invariably and logically produces poverty. If one believes in the individual, then it goes under the name of freedom, which produces prosperity.
The misery of widespread poverty and hunger is a disfigured abnormality requiring a lot of effort to construct. It can only be brought about by a the forceful application of centralised market control. Most notably by the monopoly of money.
A free market will easily and always produce prosperity, and for the many, not just the 1{781366457d9c05ca9285c5eb3e04ac75968647e24436986cab65f74e6f4b3aad}.
As I saw written in bold letters on the back of a car in Sydney, Australia a couple of years back… ‘Fuck Socialism’.
Couldn’t agree more.
