Tuesday
My embryonic entry into the Gold sphere was in the Putumayo Province in Columbia back in 1976. I was panning for Gold. Around 1978, I noticed that the ‘price of Gold’ had begun to rise.
In 1981, when currencies found strength again, I filed the subject away and went on with my life.
My interest was piqued again in early 2000. I devoured huge amounts of materials. It took about six years before I had condensed it down to its essence. Gold was money and, as such, it measured currencies; not the other way around.
I then began to study money and began warning people that the current monetary order was going to collapse and with calamitous results. I was regarded as a bit odd. Now, after ten years of being wrong, the diagnosis of even my family is that I am a nut. My wife finds it amusing.
I no longer bother talking about it as I know that the conversation will not go anywhere productive. It occurred to me that the best I could achieve with people who could not understand the subject was to scare them to death. There was no virtue in that.
And yes, my timeline was wrong. In 2000, I predicted the end of the monetary universe in 2007. Well, it was sort of right, in a hopelessly wrong sort of way. And now, it is ten years later, and to my family, friends and acquaintances all still seems hunky-dory.
Even though the process is well underway, they still cannot see, don’t want to see. They will never see, until it whacks them personally around the face.
At the latter part of October 2017, the whole collection of government, corporate and individual fishes, is rotting from the head down.
I can smell it when I go to bed and the odour is worse with each new day. The planet is ambling toward Armageddon, but at such a leisurely pace that most don’t even realise that they are going anywhere.
Even that infinitesimal percentage who know that fiat is in deep trouble, cannot correctly extrapolate out what that means. They truly believe that after a few years, all will be well again and those who bought Gold will be frich (not just rich, fucking rich).
They believe that it will be the ‘greatest transfer of wealth’ in history. They miss that it has already been the greatest destruction of wealth in history. By the time that the process has run its course, there will be no wealth left to transfer.
It is 5am on the morning of the 28th October. The smell is very bad. It is not so much that any particular area smells any worse, it is that the number of smelly areas is increasing.
The already gargantuan debt continues to explode in size. International tensions are high in any area of the world map that you care to stick a pin in. The mighty nation-states of the 19th and 20th centuries are fracturing. The Global Warming worldwide money-making and energy –destroying machine is going gangbusters and the great migration of the Muslim horde is shredding the fabric of western civilization.
It is not hard to locate the source of the smells.
Simpletons now run some of the major nation states… Macron, Trudeau, May, Merkel etc. While it is easy to snigger at these wretches, what does it say about the people who elected them? What does that say about the chance of meaningful change?
No matter where you look, the world is in a very bad place.
It stinks.
But precisely when will the illusion pop? Beats me.
