The Aristocrats’ Club

December 31, 2017 By Philip Barton

Sunday

That a senior member of the British Royal Family would find friendship with a man like Barrack Obama is disturbing.  That he would allow it to become public knowledge speaks of arrogance or ignorance – maybe, probably, both.

A majority of the UK population have traditionally and stoically supported the Royal Family.  Will they still support them now that Henry Charles Albert David Windsor (AKA Prince Harry – fifth in line to the British throne) has stuck a finger up at them?

It is widely understood, including in the UK, that it was the open contempt of the elitist US Democrats for ordinary working people (Deplorables) that cost them the 2016 presidential election.  It appears that Harry shares their disdain for commoners.

Obama, the Clintons and the whole Democrat hierarchy are raging snobs.  None of them has ever done a real day’s work, and none of them ever will.  This self-appointed, new US aristocracy is now trying to forge links with the old UK aristocracy.

In politics, offensive behaviour can usually be voted out of office.  Royalty is hereditary; offensive behaviour is otherwise punished.  Royalty that openly looks down on ordinary people has a rough history – ask the French.

The question is not whether the British Royal Family has just taken a hit in the opinion polls; it is by how much?  Prince Harry has just alienated an even larger number of former monarchists than his silly dad.

You have to hand it to Obama.  After doing so much damage to US institutions (FBI, EPA, military etc.) he may just have played a significant part in the beginning of the end of the UK Monarchy.
