Until WW1 (1914 – 1918 ), there were no passports. People could go wherever they wanted. All that they had to do was pack their bags and head off.
History records no instances (that I could find) of Anglos or Europeans protesting the mass arrival of migrants. Apart from military invasions (and the Jewish people expelled from here, there and everywhere), there were no mass arrivals of foreigners and thus no mass protests.
Today, we have not only passports, but border patrols and razor wire fences.
Why?
What’s the difference?
Before WW1, there was no incentive to uproot from family, friends and culture and move to another country. Gold was money and thus governments lacked the ability to create counterfeit credit. That meant that they could not indulge in the fraud of welfare. If you wanted to eat, then you had to work.
We have taken away the incentive of circulating Gold to produce wealth and replaced it with the incentive of welfare to consume wealth.
The intolerable migrant flows indicate that that does not seem to be working out too well. Monetary and economic chaos has produced social chaos.
The world will continue to become more and more chaotic (and degraded) until we return to honest money.
