Under normal circumstances, Donald Trump would not be my choice for President of the United States of America – who can trust a man who doesn’t drink beer? But, based on the fact that if had not won in 2016, then the venal and corrupt Hillary Clinton would have become president, his victory led me to opening a bottle of champagne.
The scale and scope of the lies, slurs, pejoratives and nutty conspiracy theories that he has had to weather over the subsequent four years, has only made me double down on my support. No one but President Trump could have lasted the distance. A lesser (more sensitive?) man would have folded. It has been unremitting. The world’s media, almost without exception, have been willing foot-soldiers for their looney-left, political generals.
It is the crazed extremes of the Democrats and media that have created the Trump presidency. A vote for Trump is a vote against 57 different sexes, safe spaces, misogyny, unvetted migration, military adventurism and political corruption on a massive scale.
Despite all, President Trump has made progress; not as much as he or we would have liked, but good progress nevertheless. The border wall is well underway. Courts from the Supreme Court to the lesser courts are now occupied by many more who honour the Constitution. China’s horrible totalitarian government has been put on notice (finally and in no uncertain terms), and those inclined to evil have been given pause for reflection. Have you noticed how quiet Iran has become?
Joe Biden is a thoroughly corrupt insider (and gives indications of senility), but even though he seems less despicable than Clinton, it is likely that President Trump will retain his job in 2020.
What the ‘Black Lives Matter’ simpletons who march and whine have not appreciated is that the majority of black Americans are not a part of their ‘culture’. Like most people, blacks work and run businesses. They are not all loser crackheads who sit around listening to crap music all day. Those blacks who don’t carry on about racism day in and day out are the majority. They have solidly voted Democrat for generations.
The lootings and burnings are happening, and being not only tolerated, but encouraged, in Democrat controlled towns and cities. That will be remembered in November. Particularly by the Americans from South of the Border. They have even less in common with black ‘culture’ than whites.
Trump will lose some white votes in 2020, no doubt about that. The media’s unrelenting lies, bad-mouthing and conspiracy theories do work among the ill-informed, but Trump will pick up more from the blacks and Hispanics than he will lose from flyover country.
25% of the black vote will see Trump re-elected. I suspect that he will get a lot more than that. The majority of blacks and Hispanics understand that Trump is the least racist president in US history. I would not be surprised were President Trump to be the Republican to finally pull a majority of the black voters off the Democratic plantation.
I’m by no means sure that even a stock market collapse will hurt Trump. The Democrats have made no secret of their ‘tax the wealthy’ ambitions.
I have another bottle of champagne in the cupboard; it will be in the fridge in November 2020.
