Wealth comes from productivity. The more production of things that are needed and wanted and affordable, the more wealth there is. It is really simple to create more wealth, because it is really easy to increase production. Hire more staff, train them better, create new products, buy more efficient machines, expand into new markets, advertise and promote, reduce prices by cost efficiencies etc., etc.
How come the world is not fabulously wealthy?
The three primary impediments to wealth-creation are:
1 The disincentive caused by the lack of a store of stable value with which to conserve and accumulate profit,
2 business regulations, and
3 business taxation.
All three impediments are brought about by government.
