Thursday

There is a popular idea that when the depression hits hard, most of the wealth will continue to exist and that it will just change hands. In other words, smart people who saw this coming and hoarded Gold and silver will gain ownership over all the riches – ‘the greatest wealth transfer in human history’, blah, blah, blah.
It is balderdash.
An unquantifiable, but huge, amount of capital will be destroyed. Ownership of Gold and silver may, repeat may, allow you to survive; it may mean that you will be better off than your neighbour. It will not make you wealthy in terms of what that is commonly accepted to mean in 2020. And it certainly will not make you safe.
If you do own any Gold and/or silver, then you would be very wise to keep your mouth shut. You will not be welcomed as an heroic Nostradamus. Far from it. Anybody who has anything, in terms of money, food or medicines (not to mention lavatory paper), will be resented. Those who live for the moment do not admire those who predict and then act with alacrity and intelligence in accordance with such predictions.
Life will be rough.
The rich will be those that can eat every day.
