The back-stabbing or, at best, half-hearted support, for President Trump by his own party will not have gone unnoticed by the 75,000,000 people who voted for him. And they did vote for him, not the Republicans.
The Republican Party will be unable to recover from its perfidy. Trump will be totally pissed off by the lame and limp nature of his party support.
Combine those factors with the fact that Donald Trump is the only American politician of the last one hundred years who could successfully begin his own party and take it to power – bigly.
I doubt that he would be the candidate; that would surely be Donald Trump Jr.
The only question is whether the establishment will allow any further elections. Was the egregious fraud of 2020 a one off, or have we seen the last of free elections in the US?
