The real dollar moves in the monetary metals will occur when the size of the debt and the fragility of the fiat system begins to enter the public consciousness.
From my observation and reading, we are still nowhere near that point. Once an inkling of this reality appears, it could, very quickly, become a deluge of awareness. But I see no sign of it yet.
Thus, all the toing and froing in the dollar price of silver ($POS) is merely a speculative phenomenon and of little long-term consequence.
It is an out-of-focus concentration on the number of dollars, instead of the value of silver.
Yes, it could double the $POS, but of what interest is that to the person who is holding Gold and silver to transit his wealth from here into the great infinite and imponderable unknown called the future?
Wish not for the collapse of the dollar. It will come, but don’t put out the wishy-hopey welcome mat.
Of greater significance at this point is the dollar price of stocks. When will that sloshing river of liquidity burst its banks?
