In the middle of all our real world problems, many still find time to dilly-dally with delusionary phenomena such as man-made global warming and scary WuFlu. Now the UFO phenomenon has raised its silly head again.
There are no high-tech alien cultures. To believe that there are is to be ignorant of the cause of civilizations. They do not exist now, nor have they ever existed. There is myriad life in the universe but, at its best, it is at the IQ level of dogs, politicians or those who believe in manmade global warming – i.e., just about able to scratch themselves without assistance. As there are no aliens, so there are no gods. Those of an ethereal disposition go for gods. Those of a more technical persuasion go for aliens. Both beliefs are born of the hope that someone or something out there will look after them – that if they ‘believe’, then they will be spared eternal damnation or being eaten or whatever other fantasy it is that allows them to be not responsible for their own lives.
The first step in life’s journey is to understand that one is fully responsible for the condition of one’s existence. That applies in this body and in all subsequent bodies. That realization is the beginning of real joy, for it is the beginning of total self-responsibility.
Life must be lived, can only really be lived, in the pursuit of truth, but even that is insufficient without the simultaneous removal of lies. The lies are embedded so deep into our cultures that even to bring them into focus as being worthwhile inspecting is beyond most. Yet it must be done. Focus on a/ the gaining of truth, and b/ the removal of lies, and you will occupy a different world to those around you.
You are on your own; you live over and over again; you will do well, or badly, based on your own decisions in the here and now and forever.
You can be either powerful or pathetic. You can win or you can lose. Make your call and live with the consequences.
