The Russia, Russia, Russia hysteria should more properly be replaced with C.I.A., C.I.A., C.I.A. hysteria. As a lifelong Yankophile, the Ukraine imbroglio has caused me great angst. Confronting the reality of that which forced Russia to act has caused me to re-evaluate my previous loyalty to all things American. This perfidy did not begin with Ukraine; it has been ongoing, becoming worse and worse, since before WW2.
Despite the breathless press shills spewing out their propaganda, Dimitry Orlov represents the views of most of the world – including many in the West.
Dmitry Orlov was born in Leningrad, USSR, into an academic family, and emigrated to the US in the mid-1970s. He holds degrees in Computer Engineering and Linguistics, and has worked in a variety of fields, including high-energy physics, Internet commerce, network security and advertising. He is the author of several books, including Reinventing Collapse and The Five Stages of Collapse. SOURCE

“In terms of the legal basis of it (incursion), it’s bullet-proof. Putin is a lawyer, he doesn’t do anything illegal ever. He makes sure that all the I’s are dotted, all the T’s are crossed in terms of the legal basis for whatever he does. Everything he does is defensible in court. The way it looks is that the collective West is really a scofflaw in this case. They basically reneged on all the treaties they signed, all the international agreements that they’ve entered into. When they say that Russia is doing something wrong what they mean is that Russia is doing something they don’t like. Whereas what Russia is doing is absolutely necessary in terms of its security.”
“The bombing of Belgrade was done by the West and anything that the West does is right by definition. Whereas the Russian incursion into the Ukraine is bad by definition because anything that Russia does is by definition bad, because the West applies double-standards to everyone and the double-standards are part of the operating system. They’re not to be disputed or discussed. So bringing up Belgrade is no use at all because it’s the West is doing it and the West is perfect by definition.”
“The U.S. is livid that its assets are being destroyed and that their great plans for destroying Russia are being laid to waste. And they’re so childish that they lash out and because they’re lashing out the Europeans have to lash out too. What’s more, to please the master, they have to lash out even harder.”
“America is going to experience its own Soviet collapse moment, like the 1990s, but it’s going to be far worse.”
The fact is that this is inconceivable to politicians in the U.S. Energy and food shortages will become a part of the American experience. The rest of the world is no longer as reliant upon the U.S. as the U.S. is on the rest of the world. People the world over will suffer, but none more so than the Americans, because they will be falling from a higher perch. The response to the Russians cleaning up the cesspool known as The Ukraine is a demonstration of American impotence in the modern world. It is not over yet, but the downhill slide is now in full view, and is accelerating.
Don’t lose sight of the fact that the destruction of the supply chains was brought about by the insane lockdowns due to Covid-19. The Russia sanctions only exacerbated the situation.
The West went Green and destroyed or closed down their energy supplies. The bottom-line in the world today is that the West is thus contracting (in wealth, production and influence) and the East is rising. The U.S. folly in Ukraine has merely served to demonstrate that fact.
