Success is based upon accurate prediction. If one cannot, in the present, anticipate with a reasonable degree of accuracy the situation in the future, then one is going to lose at whatever game it is that one is playing. Relationships, business and sporting skills all require the ability to intelligently predict and to then successfully and speedily act in accordance with those predictions.
That is why it is prudent to believe that the world is in deep trouble – no such predictive talent is evident in the West’s political leaders. Quite the opposite.
There is a ‘worst case scenario’ lurking on the periphery of predictive vision that should not be dismissed as paranoia.
