It’s amusing listening to those worried about the lack of action in the dollar price of Gold. Have no fear. Dump your non-U.S.$ currencies now and clutch gold and/or silver to your bosom.
Put a lesser portion into the shares of Gold and silver miners. When they go, and they will, they will go fast and they will go sky-high.
The mid 1970s saw a giddy ride in the value of the shares (stocks) that left people sucking for air. That was mere bagatelle compared to what is coming.
In 1975 Lion Mines could be purchased for 0.07c a share – in 1980 the share price was $380 (= x 5428)
Wharf Resources traded for 0.40c in 1975 – by 1980 the price had risen to $560 (= x 1400)
The rise in Gold and silver shares will way outpace the collapsing value of the currencies.
But don’t hold forever. It is written in stone that governments will nationalise (steal) the mines at some point in order to try to bail themselves out.
