President Trump has shattered his pose as a peace president. The U.S. bombing of the Iranian nuclear facilities was reckless in the extreme. It will have ramifications in a part of the world long beset by friction. It will also, hopefully, have ramifications in the U.S. because it was an unconstitutional act performed without the necessary Congressional approval.
Iran now has no choice. The perfidy of the U.S. means that Iran must become a nuclear power.
When Iran is a nuclear power, then the Turks and likely even the Saudis and Egypt will soon follow. North Korea, a rogue, dangerous state by any measure, established that only nuclear powers are left in peace by the U.S.
President Trump, foolishly acting at the behest of Netanyahu and all those in the pocket of the all-powerful Israel lobby, has just unleashed hell on the Middle East. The hoped for regime change is more likely to be in Israel than Iran.
But it could get worse; have the two blundering oafs assured Israel’s destruction?
